Blackfish season is ON!
After multiple angling trips on board chartered fishing boats we can confirm that the tautog are back in full force this season. Make sure you have a sturdy rig set up and for best results use blue crab as bait. Shore fishing along the hudson river have been less productive. Plenty of blues but seem to be lacking stripers of legal size.
